Families can get up to 42 allowable absence days per child each financial year.
For the 2021–22 financial year, all families can access 10 extra allowable absences per child.
This brings the total number of allowable absences available to 52.
These extra absences are to help services and families affected by COVID-19, but can be used for any reason. They will be applied automatically.
The 10 extra allowable absences are on top of the additional allowable absences provided to families in New South Wales, Victoria and the Australian Capital Territory during the extended lockdowns of 2021.
If a state or territory restricts access to child care in a region for more than 7 days, more absences will be provided.

회계연도마다 자녀 1명당 최대 42일까지 CCS 클레임이 허용 가능한 결석일을 부여받습니다.
2021-22 회계연도에는 모든 가정이 자녀 1명당 10번의 추가 결석을 허용받을 수 있게 됩니다.
이로써 2021-22 회계연도에 자녀당 CCS 클레임이 허용 가능한 결석일은 총 52일입니다.
이 혜택은 지난 회계연도에 7일 이상 차일드 케어 서비스를 이용했다면 모두 적용됩니다.
이러한 추가 결석은 COVID-19의 영향을 받는 서비스와 가족을 돕기 위한 것이지만, 
공휴일을 포함한 자녀의 개인적인 사유에 의한 결석 시에 52번의 결석 일수에서 자동 차감되어 사용 가능합니다.
